Ebbsfleet United, Bromley and Welling United were all victorious this weekend with many of Kent’s teams in FA Cup action.
In the Conference Premier league, Liam Daish’s Ebbsfleet United rallied from a goal down to record a 3-1 victory over 10-man Mansfield Town at Stonebridge Road.
The Stags were facing an uphill battle from as early as the 33rd minute when Matt Green received his marching orders for violent conduct.
Despite being a man down, Mansfield broke the deadlock on 42 minutes through Louis Briscoe.
However, they were unable to keep their opponents at bay after the half-time break as goals from Nathan Elder (58), Phil Walsh (60) and Liam Enver-Marum (pen 81) fired the Fleet to victory.
Gateshead bounced back from defeat in midweek to record a 2-0 win over Dartford at Gateshead International Stadium, Michael Cummins (40) and Josh Gillies (63) providing the goals.
Meanwhile, in the Conference South, Welling United, came out on top in a five-goal thriller with Staines Town. The fifth-placed Wings prevailed through strikes from Lee Clarke, Jake Jalladeher and Jon Main, with Louis Rae-Beadle and Tony Garrod finding the net for the 17th-placed Swans.
Hayes and Yeading ousted Dover Athletic 1-0 thanks to Tobi Joseph’s 70th minute goal at The Crabble.
Meanwhile, Pierre Joseph-Dubois’s tenth minute goal proved decisive for Bromley in a 1-0 defeat of Bath City at Hayes Lane. The result lifts the Ravens to 13th spot on the table with eight points – two behind the Romans.
Havant & Waterlooville came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Tonbridge Angels at West Leigh Park. Ed Harris and Oliver Palmer’s goals eclipsed those of Chris Piper and Henry Muggeridge, leaving the Hawks 15th on the table with seven points – two ahead of the 20th-placed Angels.
